In this model, Maasu helps define the required skills, recruit and integrate engineers, operate the team during the initial phase, and give the customer the option to transfer the established team into their own organization after a defined period.

This model is especially relevant when the customer needs a dedicated team for a longer period, but does not want to immediately set up a local legal structure, operational organization or full internal hiring process.

Choosing the right collaboration model for your program

Maasu supports three collaboration models, and none is better by default. Build–Operate–Transfer builds a dedicated team you can later take over. Classic outsourcing gives you a Maasu-managed engineering team or project delivery without internal overhead. Staff augmentation adds individual engineers directly into your own managed teams when you need fast, flexible capacity.

The right choice depends on the project type, expected duration, required team size, integration depth and your long-term ownership goals. Maasu helps you assess these factors honestly and recommends the model that fits your situation, whether that is BOT, outsourcing or staff augmentation.
